Wedgefield Plantation is a jewel located at the Southern end of the Grand Strand on what was once a rice plantation along the Black River.It is an excellent course for the relatively inexpensive green fees.The course is exceptionally chellenging,but fair.Some holes are tight and some wide open.Every hole has its own natural beauty,with massive,moss draped oaks,magnolias,dogwoods,flowering plants and wildlife all around.
