The mature tree lined fairways wind amid giant oaks and shimmering lakes of a former Carolina rice plantation, creating an extraordinary challenging experience. This traditionally styled layout is the flagship of the historic plantation courses.
Litchfield Country Club is one of the oldest golf course on the South Strand, Litchfield Country Club was built in the early 60s by noted course designer Willard Byrd. Over the years, the course has matured into a fine traditional club with a number of superb dogleg par-fours. They still maintain a private membership, so tee times for visiting golfers are limited but well worth the effort.
