With seven holes along the Intracoastal Waterway, the Norman Course at Barefoot Resort is among the most breathtaking courses on the Grand Strand. Framed by the site's original vegetation, each hole captures the beauty of its natural vistas.

The course features open, gently undulating green complexes that play into Norman's "bump and run" design philosophy, allowing golfers the latitude to play any number of different shots.

Framed beautifully by stunning waste areas and natural vegetation, the Norman Course resembles one found in the deserts of the Southwest, only without the deserts.

The course features only 60 acres of mowable grass, with greens and fairways running up to the sand waste areas on almost every hole.

The Norman course at Barefoot Resort presents a playable design for any golfer. Featuring seven holes along the Intracoastal Waterway, this course is framed by stunning waste areas and the site’s original vegetation.

Tee boxes and fairways consist of GN-1, a hybrid turf developed by Greg Norman Turf. Gently undulating A-1 bentgrass greens are surrounded by Tifdwarf approaches. The rough areas are Zoysia grass, allowing for a dramatic color and texture contrast between the areas that are maintained as fairway versus rough.
